Heather is thrilled to share the extraordinary mission and philosophy of The Academy at Penguin Hall with young ladies and their families. As a believer in and product of independent education, Heather finds it incredibly rewarding to place a student at The Academy and watch her thrive.
Early in her career, Heather held a position as Art Director in the publishing and Advertising industries. That was until 2002, when her passion for education brought her back to her alma mater as Director of Admissions and Marketing at the Phoenix School, a K–8 institution in Salem. Over her tenure at Phoenix, Heather assisted in marketing and admissions efforts to increase public awareness and enrollment. In 2004 she joined Clark School, a K-8 co-educational school in Danvers. Over the course of 7 years as the Director of Admissions and Marketing there, Heather increased enrollment in the lower school annually and was instrumental in the recruitment and enrollment of students that enabled the establishment of Clark High School in 2007.
Heather left Clark to establish a graphic design business. Four years of effort built a healthy client base consisting of organizations of varying sizes across multiple industries.
Additionally, Heather handles operations for the Hamilton-Wenham Educational Fund, a non-profit organization that provides educational advantages to all five schools in Hamilton-Wenham through carefully vetted grants. She plays a key role in driving fundraising strategies and campaigns.
Heather graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth in 1995 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and Typography. She lives in Hamilton with her husband and two children.
