Illustration and Comics

This class will provide an introduction to the history of comics and explore contemporary applications of comics. Students will learn how to create and illustrate a narrative, design characters, and explore image based storytelling. Students will maintain a sketchbook throughout the course of comics. The application of illustration in marketing and entertainment will be explored.
