Penguin Hall’s five-day boarding program offers the opportunity to live independently with fellow students while enjoying the comfort of spending weekends at home with families. Boarding students leave school Friday afternoon and return either Sunday night or Monday morning.
Our five-day boarding students develop independence and experience dorm life before college. Also, both students and families gain back valuable time during the week without the challenges of a daily commute to and from APH or after-school practices.
The boarding program provides a structured environment for students while instilling personal responsibility. Each evening there are staff-supervised study hours and a nightly curfew. During free time, residents have access to many campus facilities. Each day, they enjoy breakfasts and lunches, and then a family-style dinner hosted by the boarding faculty. Planned group activities allow students to bond with their resident peers.
Boarding at APH also helps students enjoy more fully the extracurricular life of the school. It challenges student residents to grow and thrive as productive, positive members of a special family within the Penguin Hall community.
The additional current annual cost for boarding is $9850. We encourage those who are considering this opportunity to contact us as soon as possible as space is limited.
