Vocal Ensemble: The Ruby Slippers (A Cappella Group)

Prerequisite: Audition prior to enrollment
Come audition for our a cappella group! We recreate every instrument with the human voice and feature some of your favorite songs with today’s most popular singing style. We also do a lot of vocal improvisation, circle singing, and work to do our own writing and arranging. You’ll learn how to conduct, keep time, build harmonies and layer parts, and all of the aspects needed to run an acapella group. This group performs often, many times at outside venues and events. You’ll have a ton of fun learning about the life of a gigging musician!
