Penguin Hall Begins Its 6th Academic School Year

Penguin Hall has launched into the start of a brand new school year! On Wednesday, September 1 our usually quiet campus over the summer ERUPTED with excitement as old friends reunite, new friendships are formed, and the flurry of fun community activities has filled each day this week. As both students and teachers are settling into the rhythms of another school year, let’s take a look at our first week of school:

On Monday, our Senior Class had their Grade Level Retreat–a time of intentional community, goal-setting for the year, and painting their very own parking spaces

Tuesday’s Orientation was a huge success! New APH students arrived to campus and were greeted by a canopy of bubbles thanks to our welcoming committee of students and staff

One of the activities of the day included a Clue-inspired murder mystery scavenger hunt with Detective Sherlock Tsouvalas on the case

We welcomed the APH community and their families to the beloved All-Family BBQ

Wednesday was Convocation Day! The morning began with the traditional APH greeting, where Faculty and Staff greet each and every student

Students signed up for student-led clubs and activities from Mock Trial, to Chess, to Yearbook, and so much more

Many of our seniors celebrated the start of the year by watching the sunrise at Singing Beach as part of Senior Sunrise
